How did Thanksgiving day started? It started in1621, the New World the Pilgrim's fall harvest was very flourishing and bountiful after a hard time. So, they harvested corn, fruits, vegetables and prepared fish in salt, and meat that was smoked good enough to put away for the winter. The tradition of a yearly notable thanksgiving day was held after the harvest and was continued throughout the years.
