More practical vehicles

Since the insane price of gas increases, Toyota Prius has become more popular vehicle. People became more practical nowadays. Back when the gas price was still $1 something. I saw many people owned a fancy V8 pick up truck, SUV etc. that suck up so much gas. It is not practical to own these kind of vehicles. And motorcycles have become more popular too. In fact, my husband wants to get one, a Honda Nighthawk. I don't really agree with him because I think it's too dangerous. But it is more practical to have motorcycles than cars. What do you think? I still don't want him to have a motorcycle.
