The tallest building in the world

Taepei 101 has been considered as the tallest building in the world since 2004. It is a 101 floor landmark skyscraper located in Taiwan and 5 floors underground. Its style combines tradition and modernity in ways, which appear simultaneously Asian and international. It has safety features that enable it to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. It has a multi-level shopping mall connecting the tower houses hundreds of fashionable stores, restaurants and clubs. Although, this building is considered as the tallest building in the whole world, Taipei 101 was overtaken by under construction the Burj Dubai in Dubai, UAE. The title of "world's tallest building" still rests with Taipei 101. The Burj Dubai is on the way to claim the title one the building is finished and is expected to be done in September 2009.
