radiation in Cell Phones

The Cancer Research Institute warned the public to limit cell phone use because of the possible risk of cancer. People are advised to keep the phone away from the head and use the bluetooth, speaker phone or a headset. They warn against using cell phones in public places such as a bus because it exposes others to the phone's electromagnetic fields. Cell phones emit radiofrequency energy-- it is a type of radiation that is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Some studies are being done to see if there is a link between it and tumors of the brain and central nervous system but there is no definitive link between the two. This is just precaution, it is up to the individual. But "ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure"!
