The Residents of Hoschton, Ga, did a break record the Guinness World Record for the number of scarecrows in one place. One of the scarecrow they made the image of Elvis, the "Wizard of Oz," Jesus and the University of Georgia football team are among those scattered around town. There are approximately 1,700. Scarecrow population goal: 4,000. The town wants to break the record at the annual fall "scarecrow stampede" festival in late September.
