A $6K watermelon

A black jumbo watermelon being auctioned in Japan with a record of $6,100. It's the most expensive watermelon ever sold in the country and possibly the world's. It is 17-pound premium Densuke watermelon, one of only 65 from the first harvest of the season. In Japan, melons are a luxury item commonly given as gifts. That's weird. They said that it has a different level of sweetness. It is the highest price on record for a Densuke watermelon, and means it's the highest of any watermelon in Japanese history. Isn't it strange? But I always Japanese culture is interesting to study.
